Today marked our final day of diving, limited to just the morning session.
The first dive was easy and full of life. We encountered a tiger grouper, coral shrimps, and two stunningly festive Christmas tree worms, their colors truly resembling holiday decorations.

As we continued, we were greeted by a fascinating sight—three jawfish, one of them cradling eggs in its mouth. It was a rare and intimate glimpse into the underwater world. Unfortunately, my camera struggled to capture a clear photo. White subjects on white sand, set against a blue backdrop, proved too challenging to photograph, leaving this moment as a vivid memory instead.
Toward the end of the dive, we found ourselves surrounded by countless small jellyfish—mesmerizing, yet too tricky to capture in photos.
The second dive took us through enchanting caves and tunnels—a beautiful and thrilling adventure.

And then, we met Lora again. This wasn’t her usual spot, but it was as if she knew we were leaving and came to bid us farewell. Gently, she allowed each diver to pat her, her calm presence adding a poignant touch to our final underwater moments.
As we prepared to ascend, we were greeted by numerous sharks—silky and reef alike. They circled us as if to say goodbye, a fitting finale to our diving journey.
Back on the mother ship, we carefully washed our equipment and spread it out on the deck to dry under the warm sun.
After lunch, we left the vibrant underwater world of Jardines de la Reina behind. As the ship made its way back to Júcaro Port, we relished our final moments at sea, soaking up the sun and sipping cocktails as the endless blue stretched before us.

Dinner tonight was served on land at the port—a delicious BBQ feast that marked the perfect end to our culinary journey.

It was our last supper with the group, as tomorrow morning at 6:00 a.m., we’ll have breakfast before boarding the 8:00 a.m. bus to Havana.
A bittersweet farewell to an unforgettable adventure.
A heartfelt thank you to all the crew members and dive buddies for making this an unforgettable dive trip.
