Today truly marked the end of our journey, as we prepared to depart from Havana and head back home.
With our flight scheduled for the afternoon, we had plenty of time to relax in the morning. We enjoyed a leisurely, copious breakfast on the terrace. The calm, serene atmosphere in the heart of Havana was the perfect setting, complemented by delicious food and the warmth of the surroundings.
After checking out, we bid a final goodbye to Havana—a city filled with charm and memories we’ll cherish forever.
Our return journey took us via Panamá. While a direct flight would have been more convenient, this route offered its own unexpected delights.
The day was stunningly clear, and from the plane’s window, we were treated to breathtaking views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea. As we approached Panamá, the flight attendant kindly pointed out the iconic Panama Canal in the distance—an incredible sight we might have missed otherwise. Long stretches of beach with rolling waves and lush green forests below added to the beauty of the journey.
It was a flight filled with awe-inspiring views—a perfect and unforgettable conclusion to an extraordinary trip.
