Our day began with yet another seal-watching adventure, but this time, it was something truly special. Our guide, noticing our deep love for animals and how much we had enjoyed seal watching over the past few days, invited us to her personal sanctuary—a secluded spot she often visits to relax, rarely shared with others.

This location felt even more intimate, with the seals closer than ever and clearly more at ease. Their numbers were fewer here, and the area was well protected from road access, making it a tranquil haven. We had to walk a bit over the rocky terrain to reach it, but the effort was worth it.

We found a comfortable spot under a large stone that created a natural shelter,

shading us from the sun. Once again, we spent hours simply watching the seals, soaking in the peace of this hidden place. It was a deeply relaxing moment and a bittersweet one, as it marked our final seal-watching experience on the Valdés Peninsula.

Around us, vibrant yellow flowers bloomed, a striking contrast to the harsh, dry environment—nature’s reminder of resilience and beauty.
