Our day's adventures took us beyond the underwater realm to the vibrant market at Minjanga village.
Between the two dives, we made our way to Minjanga island, where we were warmly greeted by the locals, including a delightful "little chef" who extended his hand in welcome.
Stepping into the heart of the village, we found ourselves immersed in a bustling market scene. The entire village seemed to come alive with activity, as women sold fresh fruits and vegetables while children offered coconuts and flowers on the ground.
Towards the back of the market, a circle of stalls showcased intricate carving art, each piece proudly presented by the skilled artisans. It was a delightful sight to behold, witnessing the rich cultural heritage of the Solomon Islands on display.
Our visit to Minjanga village market proved to be an enjoyable and enriching experience, providing us with a glimpse into the daily life and traditions of the local community.
