The anticipation builds as we embark on our first day of diving!
Breakfast is served promptly at 6:00, and by 7:30, we're geared up and ready to plunge into the depths. Everyone eagerly takes the plunge.
During our underwater exploration, we're greeted by a stunning array of marine life. We encounter beautiful anemones, including a large purple-and-white bowl, a purple bowl, and a big blue-edged variety, along with the delightful sight of a tiny cute baby anemone fish.
Our underwater journey also unveils other mesmerizing creatures such as yellow boxfish, white-banded pipefish, and majestic lobsters. As if that wasn't enough, we're even graced by the presence of a grey reef shark.
However, the highlight of the day was undoubtedly the sighting of a very large juvenile batfish, its black body elegantly contoured with orange-yellow line.
During our journey aboard the ship, we're treated to an unexpected surprise as dolphins playfully leap alongside us, adding an extra layer of magic to our diving adventure.
I decided not to bring my camera along for today's dive. After a prolonged hiatus from diving, I opted to focus on reacquainting myself with the underwater world. But rest assured, I plan to capture the wonders of the ocean with my camera starting tomorrow.
