Today's diving plans were set for Kicha Island, a paradise awaiting exploration. However, Mother Nature had other plans, and the captain announced a disappointing "no go" due to the inclement weather. Instead, we returned to Mbulo Island, where we had previously dived.
Despite the change in plans, we made the most of our time underwater. We explored different dive spots today, including Mbulo Baby Sharks and Mbulo Canyons. At Mbulo Baby Sharks, we were fortunate to spot baby sharks, but they were too far away for a photo opportunity. Nevertheless, the sight of these young creatures was a memorable one.
The underwater lighting wasn't optimal due to the weather, but we still encountered a beautiful passage at shallow depths. We were surrounded by numerous juvenile fish, including juvenile parrotfish and juvenile black snapper. Although they moved too quickly for a photo, the sight of these young fish was a testament to the thriving marine life in the area. We also spotted eggs of anemone fish, adding to the sense of life and vitality in the waters.

The area was teeming with juveniles and young marine life, and we were impressed by the fields of healthy corals that surrounded us. Despite the unexpected turn of events, our day of diving at Mbulo Island was filled with unexpected adventures and memorable encounters with the underwater world.

Additionally, we were captivated by the sight of a clam that resembled a piece of jewelry, its iridescent shell shimmering in the underwater light.

However, the highlight of the day was undoubtedly the longnose filefish, their adorable appearance and playful demeanor adding a touch of charm to our underwater experience.
