Day 1: A Day of Exploration

Finally arrived at Yakushima airport with such excitement, where our driver was waiting for us.

With only half a day to explore the island before departing for the famous Jomon Sugi trekking, we wanted to make the most of our time. To ensure we saw as much as possible, we decided to hire a taxi driver to guide us around. This way, we could maximize our short time and experience the diverse beauty and attractions of Yakushima Island.
