Going Where the Road Takes Me – Day 11

It was freezing cold this morning in the mountains

— only 4°C 🥶

And tonight it’s supposed to drop to −3°C 😱

So… time to escape!

After a 4 km tunnel,

suddenly the sun came out 🌞

and the temperature jumped to 14°C.

What a relief!

We stopped in Šibenik for a little break and lunch,

then kept driving south.

Couldn’t find an interesting camping spot around Split,

so we continued further…

and finally arrived in a small town called Podaca.

The views after passing Split were just incredible

— wild coastline, charming little harbors, and rocky mountains glowing in the sunset.

Absolutely worth it ❤️
