Our final day began with sunshine and a clear blue sky—a perfect setting for a leisurely start.
We strolled through the streets, pausing often to admire unique sights: an old façade creatively painted instead of restored, as preservation was no longer possible; a charming courtyard reminiscent of a Spanish patio; and quirky details like a one-of-a-kind letterbox embedded in the wall of a house. Each corner offered a glimpse into the artistic and resourceful spirit of Havana.

Our first stop was El Taller Experimental de Gráfica, a community-based Graphic Arts Studio. This bustling workshop allowed us to witness artists at work, surrounded by their tools and vibrant materials. Alongside their completed pieces, we also enjoyed a special exhibition for the Biennial, adding an extra layer of creativity to our visit.

Next, we visited Clandestina, Cuba’s first independent fashion brand store. The boutique stood out with its expertly "upcycled" creations, reflecting the ingenious resilience of the Cuban people.

As we meandered further, we passed by El Dandy Bar, renowned for a fascinating story about El Caballero de París (The Gentleman of Paris), whose portrait hangs inside El Dandy Bar. This eccentric yet beloved figure was a wandering philosopher in Havana, known for his charm and mysterious persona. Many women once visited the bar just to take a photo with his image, keeping his legacy alive.

A brief stop at the iconic Revolution Square offered a chance to see the famous Che Guevara image adorning the Ministry of the Interior building, accompanied by his powerful slogan: "Hasta la Victoria Siempre" (Until the Everlasting Victory, Always).
