Discovering Yokko Keikoku: A Hidden Gem in Nagata Village

On our way back from Seiburindo, we made a stop at the Nagata village area. From there, we embarked on a walk through an evergreen forest situated behind the village. The lush, dense foliage created a serene and enchanting atmosphere, setting the stage for our next destination.

Our walk led us to Yokko Keikoku (Yokogawa Valley), a place renowned for its emerald green pool formed by nature and a massive granite formation. Despite the overcast weather dulling the vibrant hues we hoped to see, the site remained undeniably beautiful. The natural beauty of the valley and its tranquil surroundings made it a memorable stop on our journey through Yakushima.
