Going Where the Road Takes Me – Day 6

Today we went to Poreč 🇭🇷

We expected charming old streets and historic buildings…

and yes, they are there,

but the town felt overly touristy.

Shops and restaurants for visitors everywhere,

busy and noisy cafés,

and honestly – not much atmosphere for us 🥲

Even a beer by the sea (our usual routine) wasn’t relaxing,

surrounded by loud crowds.

Disappointed and tired, we almost skipped lunch…

but then we found a little place outside the center with a sign for

“Grilled Octopus for Two” 🐙🐙

That was the highlight of the day

– absolutely delicious, and we ate way too much 😋

At least lunch saved the day 🤣
