Local Delicacies: A Taste of Yakushima

Due to a slight delay in our departure, our plan was pushed back a bit.
First and foremost, we needed to satisfy our hunger. Our driver took us to a popular local seafood restaurant called 'Shiosai'.

Here, we tried a local specialty, Tobiuo (Flying Fish), prepared in two ways: deep-fried and whole grilled. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, offering a unique and flavorful introduction to the island's cuisine.
