Beppu - "Jigoku Meguri" the famous Hells Tour

Arriving around 9:40 AM, we quickly picked up our rental car and headed straight to Beppu.

Our first adventure is the famous Hells Tour, "Jigoku Meguri."

The natural wonders we encountered were truly impressive!

We visited all seven jigoku:

Each one was unique and fascinating, but Chinoike Jigoku stood out the most. Its striking red color, reminiscent of blood, gave us a vivid image of what hell might look like, especially with the steam rising and enveloping the pond.
