We started the day very slowly, enjoying the leisurely pace of the morning.
As we strolled along the river and wandered through the city, the sun was shining brightly, and we noticed the Sakurajima volcano emitting its characteristic plumes of smoke. We couldn't help but wonder if an eruption was imminent.

We decided to take a ferry to Sakurajima and explore the area. Our first stop was the Arimura Lava Observatory. It was truly impressive to imagine that these areas were once covered with lava and yet remain still today.

Afterwards, on our way back to the mainland, we stopped for lunch at a Shokudo, a traditional Japanese dining restaurant. The food was simply delicious.

Next, we headed to KAI Kirishima. Along the way, we were treated to a breathtaking sight as the road was lined with autumn leaves. It was the most beautiful scenery we had seen so far, with the colors of the leaves creating a stunning tapestry.
