Kyushu, the southernmost of Japan's four main islands, is a region that offers a rich tapestry of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and unique geological wonders. Over the course of two weeks, we embarked on an unforgettable round trip across Kyushu, visiting some of its most renowned geological and natural attractions. This journey took me to places of breathtaking beauty and unique geological significance, including:

Beppu: Famous for its hot springs, Beppu offers a fascinating array of geothermal features, from steaming vents to boiling mud pools.

Yufuin: A charming town known for its picturesque landscapes and relaxing hot springs, Yufuin is a haven of tranquility.
