After the "Jigoku Meguri," we checked in at KAI Beppu early in the afternoon.

Our stay was wonderfully relaxing, particularly enjoying the Ashi-yu (foot bath) while gazing at the serene Beppu Bay.

When we entered our room, the deep blue Beppu Bay unfolded before our eyes through a big window. A pendant light, designed to resemble a fugu (pufferfish) made of Washi (Japanese paper), added a unified touch to the oceanic theme.

Dinner was a delightful Kaiseki meal, featuring delicacies from both the local mountains and the sea.

In the evening, the hotel hosted a reenactment of a traditional Japanese summer fair, Ennichi. We joined in the festivities and played games together, making it a fun and memorable night.

Adding to the unique experience, there was a performance by a Hot Spring Jug Band, which was both entertaining and distinctive.
