We arrived at KAI Kirishima, yet another stylish hotel that we instantly loved.

The view from our room was like a painting—truly luxurious to have such a picturesque scene right from the room.

The lighting here, which has become my focal point at each KAI, was not a pendant but a wall fixture made from Satsuma Washi. We couldn’t quite figure out what it was meant to express, but it was undeniably beautiful.
Although we had an open-air bath in our room, we decided to try the large open-air bath, which required a monorail ride to reach.

The journey to the bath was picturesque, and you can check out the video here: https://youtu.be/gw_KMQjUk9s?feature=shared
The view from the large open-air bath was breathtaking, especially with the sunset—a beauty difficult to describe. I was glad I made the effort to experience it.

Dinner was a highlight as always, featuring steamed Wagyu beef and black pork, paired with black vinegar, a specialty of Kagoshima. We enjoyed the meal with sake pairing, making it a memorable dining experience.

After dinner, we were treated to a traditional dynamic dance, "The Descendance of the Tenson," accompanied by drums and Kagura bells.
