Return to KAI: A Night of Luxury and Lava-Grilled Delicacies

Today, we returned to KAI after nearly a week of experiencing different styles of accommodations. Once again, we were impressed. Nestled in the middle of nowhere, the hotel perfectly blended with its surroundings while maintaining a stylish interior.

Our room had an enormous and featured open-air bath. Although the leaves had all fallen, leaving us surrounded by brown, bare trees instead of a lush green environment, it was still delightful to soak in the bath and enjoy the serene atmosphere before dinner.

Dinner was another culinary delight. The special treat of the evening was beef fillet grilled on a lava plate. We also had the pleasure of grating fresh wasabi ourselves.

For dessert, we moved to a cozy spot in front of an open fire, as seen in the link below, and enjoyed the warm ambiance.
